J-Day What: Journalism State Conference When: Oct. 19, 7am-3:30pm Where: Ft. Collins. Who can go: Anyone with $20...but only 16 spots available on the bus. What:
Writers/Photographers: All students by the end of the class period will have reflected on not meeting a deadline remembering they work as a team, begun the editing process of their current stories and captions, and taken the next steps on being organized for the next deadline.
Lastly, writers and photographers will understand the 4 parts to writing a caption. Captions:
Links below for the calendar: Academic Calendar for Staff Sports Calendar for Staff Design team: by the end of class will have finished the t-shirt design , communicated with O'Ryan, found pricing for t-shirts, and lanyards will be chosen. Lincoln, Alex, and Caleb will have a solid idea on folios, main package, headline package which will be placed on Pinterest, and the team will have begin the creation of their first template spread by Tuesday classtime. Why:
Working individually and in teams, all students will be able to design and present a solution to a problem or challenge by creating a plan, managing their time to meet milestones, and efficiently using tools and technology appropriate for their course.
